The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in supporting scientific research and development activities within the laboratory. She/he will technically support for early non-clinical projects. The Lab Technician works closely with Scientists and other team members to ensure the successful execution of experiments and adherence to protocols. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Laboratory animal handling and colony maintenance. Execute laboratory experiments following established protocols and instructions from senior staff. Maintain cell line cultures. Process tissues from in vivo studies and perform bioanalytical assays on derived materials, including western blot, histopathology, immunohistochemistry. Perform data analysis using relevant tools and techniques, contributing insights to support ongoing research. Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records, ensuring all experiments are properly documented. Prepare reports summarizing experimental outcomes and findings, ensuring clarity and completeness. Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth execution of experiments, maintaining an understanding of timelines and objectives. Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety protocols and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences). Certification: certification to work with laboratory animals. Experience: 1 year of experience in both an animal facility and a laboratory setting, with demonstrated ability to perform experiments and data analysis. Language: Native Spanish. Business proficiency in English (verbal and written). KEY COMPETENCIES Data Analysis Skills: Proficient in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
