We are moving from “start‑up” to “scale‑up”, and we are looking for a Global Head of MICE to be the architect of our conversion and retention strategy. This isn’t just a leadership role; it’s an opportunity to disrupt a legacy industry with AI‑driven tech, and lead a world‑class team driving towards ambitious revenue goals.What You’ll DoPeople leadership: grow a global team of 20 Event Specialists and Managers to 40 by EOY – recruit and develop talent – ensure they are highly motivated to hit quarterly targets. Manage work allocation across regions to keep the team lean, fast, and happy.Own sales targets: manage the team to convert pipeline into booked events, consistently hitting ambitious quarterly targets. Report on numbers, find gaps, and drive growth.Focus on quality: define new service standards, set up real‑time quality monitoring, strengthen customer feedback loops, and improve customer loyalty.Optimize conversion: increase win‑rate by implementing operational improvements based on customer feedback and quality metrics.Strategic deals: support senior ICs to handle enterprise accounts, submit RFPs and manage high‑value opportunities for 1,000+ attendee events.Product partnership: work with the Head of Product to ensure the roadmap solves blockers for the conversion team, including automation of operational processes.Innovation and tech: continually improve the tools and processes that enable scaling; drive adoption of the Perk Events platform within the conversion team.Reporting: share results and insights with leadership to shape key decisions and overall event strategy.Coach and develop: provide hands‑on mentorship and level up the next generation of MICE leaders.What You’ll NeedExperience: Proven leader with a track record of scaling a business unit from $1 M to $10 M+. Knowledge of industry pain points and solutions.Leadership: Managed large teams, built high‑performing and engaged squads, comfortable with 6–8 direct reports.Mindset: Persistent, resilient, and humble & scrappy attitude; thrives in the chaos of a scale‑up while maintaining strategic focus.Analytical lens: Strong data‑driven mindset, proficient in reporting on individual and team performance.Stakeholder edge: Expert at managing expectations and building cross‑departmental bridges (Product, Sales, Finance, Legal).Communication: Perfect written and spoken English.
