Engineering Project Manager
with a background in the automotive industry and technical experience in plastic parts development. You will lead engineering activities, coordinate cross‑functional teams in an international environment, and drive projects from initiation to start of production, ensuring delivery on time, within quality and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the engineering scope for new product development projects from start to start of production.
Plan, organize and monitor engineering activities, milestones, and deliverables.
Define and maintain robust technical definitions (parts, assemblies, tools, fixtures, test equipment).
Support technical analyses and validation activities such as CAE/Moldflow and other simulations.
Ensure products meet technical, quality, cost, and timing requirements throughout development.
Promote quality and risk management practices (incl. participation in risk analyses).
Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to advance project progress.
Manage engineering budgets and adjust resource planning as needed.

Required Technical Skills

Minimum 4+ years of experience in engineering project management within the automotive industry.
Proven experience in plastic parts design and development for automotive applications.
Solid understanding of automotive quality and engineering practices (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
Experience with technical documentation, engineering drawings, and product specifications.
Familiarity with industry standards and tools used for project tracking and validation.

Soft Skills & Languages

Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills.
Ability to manage and influence cross‑disciplinary teams.
Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills.
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
