Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeJob DescriptionThe Workshop Technician reporting to the Workshop Technician Supervisor, is responsible to provide prompt and effective service on customer owned actuators. The Technician will work as part of the Service team, and dependent on workload may be asked to perform site visits on field repairs.This role will involve basic maintenance, repair and testing of electric and fluid power actuators, gearboxes and valve actuation for in house service jobs. The Service Workshop Technician will support the Service Coordinator in generating, maintaining and closing of in-house service tickets.There will be a close relationship with the customer, providing quotations, appropriate feedback and technical assistance and with other departments, including working with Quality, Engineering, Shipping and Sales Managers.Within the workshop, this individual will be responsible for tools, calibration of safety equipment, preventative maintenance, inventory control and overall tidiness of the workspace.QualificationsExperience Requirements:Valid Driver’s license and acceptable drivers abstract3+ year’s experience with an Electrical and Mechanical background to include ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and conduct failure analysis of mechanical components and repair/service electro-mechanical productsStrong mechanical and technical aptitudeAbility to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipmentBasic working knowledge of MS Office applications and other related softwareThe Successful Candidate:Strong customer orientation/ customer service skillsAbility to work independently and sometimes under pressureAdditional InformationRotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow or liquids, gases and powders across many industries worldwide.Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.For over sixty years, the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving.
