About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join our ambitious Upper School team. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 to 5 and play a key role in preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. There is also potential for leadership of the faculty, which includes Maths, Business and ICT.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and rigorous Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3–5.
Prepare students thoroughly for IGCSE and A-Level Maths examinations, incorporating practical work, theoretical understanding, and application-based learning.
Support interdisciplinary initiatives and help foster a strong culture of mathematical enquiry across the school.
Collaborate with colleagues within the Maths Faculty and across other departments to promote STEAM projects, academic excellence, and whole-school engagement with key awareness days, and enrichment initiatives.
Maintain high standards of classroom management, academic challenge, and student wellbeing.
Contribute to the development of the faculty’s curriculum, schemes of work, and assessment strategies.

Who We Are Looking For
Qualifications And Experience
A relevant degree in Maths
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Experience teaching Maths to IGCSE and A-Level (or equivalent international curricula). Experience teaching IGCSE and International A Level Further Maths (or national equivalent) would be advantageous.
Experience of ICT GCSE would be an advantage
Strong pedagogical knowledge and a passion for subject-based enrichment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
Experience in international or bilingual settings is an advantage but not essential
