Overview
As Technical Buyer PPR, you will lead procurement for project materials, goods and services, balancing price, quality and lead times within Sulzer policies. You’ll negotiate with vendors, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery and compliance. You’ll manage supplier relationships, evaluate market options, and drive cost efficiency through strategic sourcing and continuous improvement. This role combines tactical execution with strategic initiatives to support project success and production goals.
ResponsabilidadesLead procurement for assigned project materials, products and services within budget and scheduleEstablish and maintain relationships with vendors to support company strategiesCoordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and scope alignmentMonitor market trends and explore alternative sourcing optionsProvide project teams with offers and evaluations, including supplier comments and market statusPrepare technical and commercial evaluation sheets ensuring complete scope is quotedConvert requisitions to purchase orders and secure formal acknowledgmentsEnsure timely delivery and quality of purchased supplies for projects and productionExpedite supplier activities and coordinate with internal departments to progress engineering/productionManage non-conformities with suppliers and coordinate closuresEscalate risks to delivery dates and production schedulesMaintain ERP data for assigned tasks and responsibilitiesCapture lessons learned and document according to Sulzer Spain proceduresBalance tactical execution with strategic cost-reduction initiativesDeliver updates and reports; participate in required meetingsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and internal improvement projectsDemonstrate commitment to safety policies and ethics
