YOUR ROLE
As Technical Lead Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications specializing in Java technologies. You will work in a multidisciplinary and international environment with cutting‑edge technologies, collaborating in Agile environments to continuously improve development processes.
YOUR TASKS
Designing and Developing Software: Design, create and maintain high‑quality Software Applications using Java and related technologies. Participate in the development of the most complex functionalities.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver robust software solutions.
Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security. Supervise developments carried out by the team. Disseminate best practices and development processes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software engineering practices. Propose improvements in application development.
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to developers, ensuring best practices in coding and design. Help the team identify pending work in a project.
YOUR PROFILE
Has more than five years of relevant work experience. Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design and software development principles. Consistently works under direction with minimal supervision, producing accurate and reliable results.
Proficiency in Java: Extensive experience with Java 8‑21 (streams, interfaces…) and Spring frameworks.
Software Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies such as Scrum.
Technical Knowledge: SOAP, REST, MAVEN, JSP, HTML, PL SQL. JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular) will be a plus. Database Management: Experience with relational and non‑relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
Testing and Debugging: Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging using tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, GitHub.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. Fluent in English and/or French.
Problem‑Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
