In this role you will own the technical direction of a mature, on‑premise to cloud modernization. You will lead an engineering team through an incremental modernization of our Deporwin platform, preserving reliability for hundreds of clients while moving toward a cloud‑ready architecture. You’ll drive architectural decisions, build a culture of quality, and introduce automation, CI/CD, and observability. You’ll also lead AI initiatives to improve development workflows and product capabilities. This is a chance to shape a long‑standing product with significant impact for sports facilities across Europe and Latin America.Compensaciones / Beneficios• Assess current architecture and design a modernization roadmap that minimizes client disruption• Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team; set technical standards• Introduce automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, and observability• Identify and drive AI initiatives across development and product• Design systems to decouple business logic from legacy components and enable multi‑tenant SaaS• Plan gradual client migrations, automated deployments, and reduce per‑client maintenance• Collaborate with product, operations, and professional services to align technical decisions with business prioritiesResponsabilidades• Proven experience as tech lead or senior engineering leader with legacy modernization or platform migrations in production• Strong backend architecture skills; design of scalable, maintainable systems using modern stacks and cloud platforms• Experience xcskxlj with SQL Server and relational DB design, migration, and optimization• Hands‑on experience introducing DevOps and CI/CD into teams or codebases• Practical AI experience in development workflows or AI‑powered features; ability to evaluate AI technologies and propose initiatives• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)• Available during Spanish business hours (CET/CEST); remote possible with overlap• Proactive mindset with ability to spot and fix issues proactivelyRequisitos principales•
