Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required A t least 5 years recent post-related experience ; A minimum of 3 years of experience with Linux RHEL servers and Ubuntu Workstation, and in designing, deploying, and maintaining Linux-based (virtualized) infrastructure ; Hands-on experience with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages . Desirable Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc ; Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef ; Ability to identify project/program needs and develop strong technical, innovative solutions for addressing use of existing and future computing resources . Duties/role Executing standard operational procedures, including infrastructure configuration, installation, and maintenance ; Using infrastructure management tools to collect and report on load and performance statistics, and automating the provisioning, testing, and deployment of new and changed infrastructure ; Reviewing system software updates and identifying those that merit action .
