You will engage with executive-level clients, develop commercial strategies, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and expanding accounts. Your role is critical in enabling organizations to operate legally and efficiently across borders, ensuring they meet complex tax compliance requirements. You will build lasting relationships, deliver consistent revenue growth, and provide valuable insights to inform strategic decisions. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for clients and contribute to Sovos’ continued success.More specifically, you will:Generate new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close, including up-sell and cross-sellDevelop and execute account-based commercial strategies to increase sales and retain customersBuild and nurture executive and C‑Suite relationships with clientsDeliver profitable new business revenue growth in your assigned territory, meeting and exceeding targetsGrow and manage a balanced pipeline to achieve consistent year‑over‑year performanceUtilize multiple sales approaches to manage complex sales into large enterprisesAcquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the tax compliance industry and competitive landscapeProvide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to support management’s strategic decision‑makingWhat We Need From You10+ years of proven success selling SaaS‑based or software solutions to large multi‑national organizations, managing complex sales cyclesStrong targeting, prospecting, and closing skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue quotasAbility to relate to and present effectively at the C‑Suite levelHighly analytical approach to defining client outcomes and articulating valueSkilled in using facts and data to drive sales narrativesProven ability to create energy and focus within highly matrixed teamsWillingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and sales team events (minimal to significant travel as required)Successful completion of background check and drug test due to federal contractsWhat Does Sovos Offer You?A chance to work with talented and passionate people in a rewarding and values‑driven environment!
