This role requires relocation to Portugal. Workster is partnering with a leading BPO company to recruit a Spanish-speaking Banking Operations Specialist to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal , supporting one of the UK’s most innovative digital banks. This opportunity is ideal for professionals currently based in Spain who have experience in banking, financial services, or insurance and are interested in an international career experience in Lisbon . You will support Spanish-speaking customers while applying your knowledge of banking operations to resolve complex cases and deliver high-quality service. Your Role Provide customer support via chat, phone, and email for Spanish-speaking customers Resolve complex enquiries related to accounts, payments, disputes, and transactions Handle fraud investigations, chargebacks, and complaint resolution Deliver clear guidance on banking and financial services processes Act as a subject matter expert for banking-related topics within the team Support colleagues with knowledge sharing when needed Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards Your Qualifications Fluent Spanish and good English (spoken and written) Minimum 12 months of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or similar sectors Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage complex customer cases independently Comfortable working with digital tools and multiple platforms Team-oriented with strong communication skills EU passport or valid work authorization for Portugal The Offer Full-time position based in Lisbon, Portugal Relocation support available for candidates moving from Spain Optional company accommodation in Lisbon Paid training before starting the role Health insurance from the first day of the contract Meal allowance card Holiday and Christmas allowances paid monthly 40 hours per week on rotational shifts (24/7)
