Senior Associate (H/M/X)Manpower is partnering with a leading international investment fund to expand its Barcelona office with the hire of a Senior M&A Associate. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and play a key role across the full investment lifecycle.Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage due diligence processes for potential transactions.- Support the end‑to‑end acquisition process, including execution and negotiations alongside senior stakeholders.- Conduct in‑depth market research and industry analysis to identify investment opportunities.- Prepare high‑quality presentations and materials for boards, investors, banks, and other stakeholders.- Analyse and assess business models and strategic positioning of target companies.- Build and review financial models, including company valuations, LBO models, budgets, and forecasts.- Support the preparation of investment memorandums and transaction documentation.- Coordinate with auditors and external advisors during financial and operational reviews.- Develop and maintain financial models for portfolio monitoring and performance tracking.- Produce financial reports and consolidation packages for internal and client use.- Implement and oversee financial best practices across the company and its portfolio.- Identify new investment opportunities through data analysis, research, and market intelligence.- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives linked to investment activities.- Provide additional support on strategic or ad hoc projects as required by senior management.Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction services.- Previous experience in audit or accounting is a plus.- International experience or exposure is highly valued.- Full professional proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.- Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow professionally.Are you looking to join an investment firm in the heart of Barcelona?
