As a Senior Animator, you will be responsible for giving credibility and transmitting the specific emotions in each moment of the film. You should be able to understand and handle different styles of animation and bring them to the highest artistic and technical level. As a senior, you must help and push the team, being an example to others and showing strong consistency throughout your work.
Responsibilities
Create animations at the highest artistic and technical level.
Work closely with the Director, Supervisor and Leads in a team environment.
Collaborate and propose genuine and unique acting or movement for each assignment in alignment with the story and context.
Plan own assignments to reach deadlines, considering interaction with Director, Supervisors and Leads.
Keep characters in model and respect the design of the production.
Be open to professional feedback and possible changes in direction during the animation process.
Stay up on current artistic methodologies and technology trends and tools that best suit the production.
Work together with the team, providing support, guidance and instruction to contribute to their artistic and professional growth.
Follow the Supervisor’s and Lead's guidance.
Requirements
5+ years in VFX or animation industries.
3+ years in the animation industry.
Strong artistic and/or technical aptitude related to 3D animation is a must.
Drawing skills are desirable.
High English level desirable.
Spanish desirable.
