You will partner withthe Product Owner and Tech. Team Lead (TTL) to refine and prioritize the product backlogwhile proactively removing impediments. Your role will also include facilitating Scrumceremonies, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.This position requires working in a global environment with distributed teams across multiplecountries and time zones, collaborating with stakeholders at different management levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMentor team members on Agile values, principles and best practices of Scrum.Support the team in self-management and self-organization.Ensure adherence to team agreements, including Definition of Ready, Definition ofDone, and Working Agreements.- Establish, track, and communicate Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts andsprint progress. Identify areas for improvement using data-driven insights.- Assist the Product Owner / TTL in release planning, defining release scope andtimelines.- Ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and contains actionableitems.- Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning,Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives).Improve transparency and communication between teams and stakeholders.Proactively identify and resolve impediments to ensure sprint goals are met.Participate in Scrum of Scrums to ensure cross-team collaboration and alignment.- Support in preparing for Quarterly Alignment Days.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSExperience & SkillsProven experience as a Scrum Master in large, global e-commerce projects.3+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience in a software developmentenvironment.Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies (XP, SAFe is a plus).Familiarity with Agile techniques such as TDD, ATDD, Continuous Integration,Continuous Testing, Agile Games.Proficiency in Agile tools (JIRA and Confluence is a plus).Technical background and/or experience as a Software Engineer is an assetBasic knowledge of Release Management, including code branching and versioning.Experience as a Project Manager is a plus.Soft SkillsStrong ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire development teams.Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business teams at all levels.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Experience working in a fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations.Education & Certifications- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a relatedfield.- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I) or equivalent certification.Languages- Fluency in English (French or other languages is a plus).Why UsPermanent contractCompetitive salaryPrivate health and life insurance from day one in the companyWorking hours: Monday to FridayHybrid ModelMeal allowance on card/voucherEquality & Opportunity for AllRepresenting 165 nationalities across the globe, we pride ourselves on being an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.Candidate Privacy Notice: https://www.hcltech.com/candidate-privacy-notice
