Cambridge House British International School is a highly distinguished British international school and was the first in Spain to gain both BSO (British School Overseas) and NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain) accreditation.
Founded more than 30 years ago in Valencia (East Spain), this progressive school with strong family values and delivering the English National Curriculum now has 1,700 students and has evolved to meet the needs of modern learners. Students aged 3 to 18 attend the school and follow the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum. Year 12 and 13 students take A-levels and gain accreditation for the Spanish Baccalaureate and can also choose to follow the BTEC route , providing vocational pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan and deliver individual or small-group interventions
Administer standardised cognitive and psychological screening tools
Prepare clear and comprehensive written reports to be shared with external professionals
Communicate assessment findings effectively to families, teachers, SEN staff and external agencies.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and consultations
Manage and prepare SEN-related documentation required for GCSE, AS and A-Level Access Arrangements
Job Requirements
Fluent Spanish and English (spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong understanding of data protection and the importance of efficient record keeping.
Experience working within a British curriculum school
Experience supporting and upholding safeguarding practices in schools
