Senior Accountant
Lead the day‑to‑day accounting function and ensure timely, accurate financial information that supports the business.
Responsibilities:
Own the month‑end close, management accounts, general ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliation, VAT/tax submissions, and audit readiness.
Provide leadership and guidance to the Finance Assistant.
Prepare financial statements and support the Financial Controller with reporting packs, budgeting and forecasting, and ad‑hoc analysis.
Manage a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment and oversee retail inventory accounting.
Ensure strong internal controls and consistent finance processes.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a financial accountant.
Permission to work in Spain.
Professional Spanish and English proficiency.
Experience owning core accounting processes end‑to‑end.
Confident working in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment with tidy intercompany and FX treatment.
Ability to juggle priorities (close, compliance, audits, operational support) while maintaining accuracy and composure.
Experience in travel/tours, retail, hospitality, e‑commerce, or other operationally complex environments.
Experience working with external auditors and advisors in a structured way.
Familiarity with multi‑entity consolidation inputs.
Experience improving close timelines, control frameworks, or finance processes in a growing business.
Finance and Administration Assistant
Supports the day‑to‑day transactional finance operations of the business, ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions and assisting with reconciliations and administrative finance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Process daily financial transactions and validate supplier invoices.
Carry out bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
Prepare and review information for filing various tax obligations (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
Manage purchase orders, supplier payments, and customer refunds.
Track team expenses via the Payhawk platform.
Assist with public grant management and payment forecasting.
Support HR consulting and asset management (fleet control, maintenance, repairs).
Qualifications:
Vocational training or Business Administration with accounting experience.
Eager to develop professionally and keep pace with the company.
English and Spanish fluency; professional knowledge of French preferred.
Proactive, self‑motivated, and driven by challenges.
Strong attention to detail, organized, methodical, and deadline‑oriented.
Ability to work for a multi‑company and international accounting environment (Spain and France).
Experience with purchasing management, supplier invoicing, and procurement workflows.
Full time (40 hours) or part time (minimum 20 hours) available. The role is based in our office in Fornells de la Selva, Girona. Remote working is not available. Salary subject to experience.
Bike Rental & Workshop Mechanic – Nice Cycling Hub
Responsible for running a world‑class professional workshop and maintaining a high‑end rental fleet of 100+ bikes.
Responsibilities:
Work in a busy, professional‑level workshop.
Maintain the workshop to the highest visual and operational standards.
Design and maintain a clear, efficient workshop layout.
Continuously develop the Hub workspace to improve workflow.
Define best working practices in collaboration with the Hub Manager.
Create and implement workshop processes (quality control, rental bike procedures, cleaning protocols, bike wash & storage systems).
Complete work efficiently while supporting the second mechanic.
Recognize priority tasks and work as part of a strong, collaborative team.
Ensure workshop parts are well stocked and source best‑value alternatives.
Work with the Hub Manager to improve workshop efficiency.
Support achievement of workshop financial targets and identify upselling opportunities.
Assist the wider team with technical knowledge to support bike and product sales.
Promote cycling as a safe, reliable, and enjoyable mode of transport.
Inspect customer bicycles to identify mechanical issues.
Stay up to date with the latest bike technology and repair techniques.
Maintain and manage a high‑end rental fleet of 100+ bikes, ensuring they are clean, mechanically sound, functional, and correctly matched.
Perform safety checks and use service checklists for every rental.
Prepare bikes for reservations and ensure readiness for customers.
Meet and greet customers, ensuring confidence and comfort.
Diagnose and repair faults such as worn components, broken parts, and misalignments.
Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
Assemble new bicycles from boxed kits.
Replace or repair defective parts using specialist tools.
Advise customers on maintenance, repairs, and potential upgrades.
Test ride bikes after repairs to ensure safety and performance.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
Qualifications:
Fluent in French and English.

Product Developer
Help grow our in‑house cycling apparel and merchandise line by turning design concepts into production‑ready products.
Responsibilities:
Manage development from initial briefing through sampling, testing, costing, and handover to production.
Coordinate with designer, supply chain partners, and the wider ESC team.
Deliver high‑quality, durable, and beautiful products reflecting our commitment to cycling culture.
Qualifications:
2–5 years in product development, technical design, or apparel production (sports/outdoor/cycling preferred).
Hands‑on experience with factories and sampling processes.
Comfortable creating and managing technical specifications.
Experience developing cycling apparel specifically (jerseys, bib shorts, outerwear).
Knowledge of chamois, compression knits, seam tapes, bonding, and other technical elements.
Fluency in Spanish.
Interest in sustainability, materials science, and ethical production.
Purchase Retail Specialist
Full‑time, on‑site role based in Girona, managing the supply chain of our own product line and product selection/inventory management with partner brands across three physical locations and one online shop.
Responsibilities:
Manage retail operations, purchasing, and inventory management.
Create and maintain purchasing processes.
Build relationships with suppliers.
Regular visits to local manufacturers.
Align retail offerings with Eat Sleep Cycle’s commitment to quality and sustainability.
