We’re looking for a Risk Modeller to join our Science team and shape the next generation of climate risk solutions for the energy sector. /ppIn this role, you’ll develop quantitative methods that convert climate hazards into business and financial impacts. You’ll collaborate with scientists, engineers, product teams, and clients to build robust risk models for decision‑making under uncertainty. This is ideal if you enjoy tackling complex problems, working with uncertainty, and applying scientific insights in real‑world solutions. /ph3What You’ll Do /h3ulliDevelop and enhance risk modelling methodologies for our energy climate risk products. /liliTranslate climate data into actionable business and financial risk metrics. /liliDesign and validate probabilistic and statistical models. /liliCollaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to operationalise methodologies into scalable solutions. /li liContribute to research and innovation initiatives related to climate and energy risk. /liliEngage with clients and partners to understand industry challenges and support product adoption. /liliHelp evolve our energy risk offering and contribute to broader climate risk projects across the company. /li /ulh3What We’re Looking For /h3ulliMaster’s degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field. /lili3+ years of experience in risk modelling, quantitative analysis, or related disciplines. /li liStrong knowledge of statistical modelling, uncertainty analysis, and probabilistic methods. /li liExperience working with Python, R, or similar analytical tools. /li liUnderstanding of the energy sector, particularly renewable energy, asset risk, portfolio management, or financial impacts. /li liExcellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. /li liComfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with a high degree of autonomy. /li /ulpWe are open to a range of backgrounds.
