You'll execute critical RF measurements, automate analysis, and collaborate with hardware and DSP teams to ship breakthrough features.NOVELIC is the world's premier provider of mmWave radar systems, perception solutions, end-to-end embedded systems, power electronics, and semiconductor solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors.Founded in 2013, NOVELIC has built up a strong portfolio of IPs and patents relating to mmWave radar and vision-based perception, and has since shipped tailored solutions for leading automotive and industrial companies in all regions.Since 2023, NOVELIC has been part of Sona Comstar Group, an Indian Tier 1 automotive company, paving the way towards NOVELIC establishing itself as a supplier of ADAS solutions for the Indian market.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform antenna and system-level RF simulations (CST or equivalent) to evaluate beamforming, signal radiation, and propagation characteristicsExecute radar module measurements in lab and anechoic chamber (e.g., S-parameters, gain, beam patterns)Support radar calibration during development, integration, and validation phasesDevelop scripts (primarily in Python) to automate measurement, postprocessing, and data analysis workflowsValidate RF simulations against real-world test results and contribute feedback to the platform backlogCollaborate across system, EE, and DSP teams to optimize the radar sensing stackParticipate in Program Squads for feature delivery or performance improvement activitiesYOUR PROFILE:Technical Skills:Proficiency in Python for scripting and automationBasic understanding of signal processing techniques (e.g., DoA estimation)Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (CST, HFSS)Solid foundation in RF systems: signal propagation, antenna behaviour, modulationExperience with RF lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, mixers)Mindset & BehavioursHands-On and Curious: Learns by building, measuring, and iteratingSystem Thinker: Sees impact of RF components on broader radar performanceOwnership Mentality: Takes initiative from concept to implementationCross-Disciplinary Communicator: Effectively engages with EE, DSP, and System EngineeringResilient and Quality-Focused: Pursues first-time-right delivery and continuous improvementDesired Experience:2+ years of RF testing, measurement, or simulation in the radar or telecom domainExposure to radar module design and validation preferredWE OFFER:Opportunity to work on challenging projects in a dynamic, growing companyFlexible working hours and hybrid work optionsCompetitive salary with private health insurance
