About the job How would you like to work for a leading Wall Street fintech company? Founded in 2014 and headquartered in New York City, Roc360 is an industry leader in the residential investor market providing billions of dollars in loans each year to allow US residential real estate investors acquire investment properties for short term “fix & flip” and long-term rental. The company is present in 4 continents with in excess of 450 employees. Roc360 Spain, a wholly owned subsidiary of Roc360, is recruiting additional resources for our team in Madrid. Our existing Spanish team supports the US business through a number of business areas including loan underwriting, closing, appraisal management, technology, finance and loan servicing. Description Roc360 originates thousands of lending opportunities in the US each month through a combination of third-party brokers and an internal sales team All lending opportunities are individually assessed by an internal loan underwriting department. This team completes a detailed credit assessment of each lending opportunity in line with Roc360’s lending criteria and recommends loans to credit committee for approval Loan sizes vary from $100k to $30mm secured by US single family property, multi family, mixed use and property portfolio (5+ units) The real estate analysts work with our loan underwriting team completing reviews of new lending opportunities. The Role Assist with the underwriting of fix & flip and rental loans Analyse borrower repayment capacity and property-level historical operating statements as well as third-party reports including real estate appraisals, engineering, environmental and zoning reports Assist in the preparation and presentation of credit reports to Credit Committee Audit and verify the accuracy of underwriting due diligence documentation Coordinate with internal support staff in appraisals, closing, trades etc Engage with the loan origination team and third parties to provide feedback on loan submissions Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulatory guidelines and industry best practices Assist in other ad hoc tasks Profile Recent undergraduate or Masters degree with a strong academic track record 2+ years work experience Fluency in English with the ability to work through English Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interest in the real estate sector and knowledge / interest in broader economic trends Excellent analytical skills Financial modelling, projection and stress testing skills Dedicated problem solver with a can-do attitude Strong work ethic Great teammate What do we offer?
