Bioherent is seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist to lead antibody development for our next-generation photonic immunoassay platform. We are particularly interested in candidates eligible or planning to apply for a Torres Quevedo grant (2025 call), who wish to continue their research career in an innovative industrial environment. Being responsible of performing experiment focus on the antibody development from start to finish (mice immunization - hybridoma screening – antibody engineering – antibody production) Characterize and perform quality control of purified antibodies molecules using biochemical and biophysical methods (e.G. Design and generate DNA constructs using a variety of cloning strategies. This is a wet lab position and is expected for you to directly perform the above-mentioned tasks. Analyse, interpret, and clearly communicate experimental data, both verbally and in written reports. Maintain accurate and timely records of all work in laboratory notebooks, in accordance with company procedures. Collaborate cross-functionally with the different departments to ensure successful selection, implementation and execution of translational research and clinically relevant biomarker assays and plans. Support the Immunochemistry team in antibody testing and contribute to day-to-day lab operations (e.G. maintenance of instruments, preparation of SOPs and risk assessments. Hold a PhD in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Antibody Discovery, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology or a related field Have an in-depth understanding and hands-on research experience of molecular biology and cellular biology techniques, including DNA cloning and mammalian cell culture.
