Overview
In this role you will lead the Quality Department at the Barcelona-area plant, aligning quality policies with the overall business strategy. You will partner with plant leadership to ensure high customer satisfaction and compliance with international and automotive standards. You drive QMS implementation, audits, and continual improvement, while developing talent and promoting a safety-first culture. ResponsabilidadesLead and own the Quality Department and annual planPartner with plant leadership as a trusted advisorFoster cross-functional collaboration across departmentsManage customer quality relationships, including complaints and escalationsOversee all QA processes and activitiesDefine procedures and work instructions; provide training to operationsPromote a safety-first culture within the teamAttract, develop and retain high-potential talent; manage performanceAssess and plan short- and long-term training needsManage department budget and ensure cost efficiencyEnsure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the QMS and auditsSupervise laboratory activities, including calibration processes
Requisitos principalesBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical fieldProven experience in a Quality Management role within a multi-shift manufacturing environmentExperience working with automotive customers is highly valuedStrong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as: IATF, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, GRR, MSA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 8D, VDA, Corrective and Preventive ActionsBusiness acumenQuality orientationOperational excellence driveIATF 16949APQPPPAP
