About the role
This is a newly created position that will allow the selected candidate to build a high-impact role within the company with a growth plan.
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating orders with suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, track purchase orders, and collaborating closely with various company departments.
Key responsibilities
Be the purchasing to support of assigned different departments: Operations; Safety and Environmental; Finance; Sales and Marketing and PeopleOrder Management: purchase orders creation, orders delivery tracking, and manage any required accounting documentation related to procurement activities Request quotes from suppliers and negotiate purchase termsRegister new suppliers and keep current supplier data updated in the systemManage, monitor, and keep delivery times and order prices up to dateReview and approve invoices for orders with issuesIdentify efficiency and savings opportunities and promote continuous improvement initiativesAssist key stakeholders in the day-to-day activities needed to successfully execute
Knowledge Skills And Experience
Degree in Administration, Finance, Business, Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within procurement or operational processesStrong knowledge of SAP MMAdvance level in Excel Fluency in English (C1) written and spoken is a must
