Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as an Engagement Manager for port and terminal opportunities in the Spanish MarketBe aware of industry technical requirements, trends and opportunitiesLead and manage the preparation of design documents, calculation reports, and specifications for waterfront/marine/ports civil site developmentPlan, schedule work, and complete work assignments within established budget and timelinesMentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plansDetermine project costs by calculating labour, material, and related costsCreates feasibility study by analysing engineering design and assembling dataConduct site visits and attend client meetings as necessaryReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Other DutiesPlease note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.QualificationsUniversity degree in transportation planning, or a degree in civil, marine, or mechanical engineering15 years’ experience with similar engagementsMinimum of 5 years of project management experience with competence in managing projects, budgets, proposal writing, and coordination with clientsExperience in maritime development projects; requiredStrong communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills are a mustAn entrepreneurial “can do” attitude with an ability to work toward solutionsAll new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre‑employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800‑171Working ConditionsMajority of work is office based.
