Would you like to work with the latest technology in the automotive sector? Bertrandt aims to strengthen the Infotainment team in the automotive sector with an engineer responsible for expanding management capabilities. This team manages several projects for one of our clients in the automotive industry, where you will be responsible for ensuring the correct implementation of a function in an electronic control unit of the vehicle. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end development of one or more components (Hardware, Mechanical, Software), ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality targets. Act as the main interface between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and consortium partners, managing timelines, testing activities, deliverables, communication, and documentation. Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams throughout all project phases. Define, plan, and manage the component development roadmap, including milestones, costs, and vehicle integration requirements. Prepare, maintain, and continuously update the Project Plan. Create, review, and release technical documentation and component approvals. Identify, assess, and prioritize technical and non-technical risks; define and implement mitigation and prevention measures. Manage engineering changes and component modifications, including the technical evaluation of commercial proposals. Prepare and manage purchase requests related to the component. Track and resolve component-related issues and errors throughout development and production. Provide on-site support to production lines in case of component-related issues and ensure proper incident reporting and follow-up. Escalate critical topics when required and actively participate in governance forums (internal and external). Manage claims and customer complaints related to the component. Perform root-cause analysis on vehicles affected by component issues. Support vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Prepare regular project status reports, test reports, and executive presentations. Ensure proper documentation and reporting for each project (e.g., ZDC generation). Your Profile: Technical or Higher Degree in Audio / Sound Engineering. Knowledge of the automotive sector. Languages: High level of English required; German desirable. Office tools: MS Office Suite, MS Project. Knowledge of VW consortium tools desirable. Driving license B. Teamwork and quick adaptation to new working methods. Flexibility. Willingness to travel.
