Job Summary
FrieslandCampina Spain is seeking an experienced Production Manager for its factory in Zaragoza (La Muela). The role ensures efficient, safe and reliable production operations in line with the company strategy, delivering products that meet customer requirements for quality, price and sustainability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in production or manufacturing management
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma)
Strong people management and leadership experience
Proficiency in English and Spanish
Business‑oriented mindset; able to partner with plant management
Strong change management and decision‑making skills
Continuous improvement mindset and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Positive, proactive, and pragmatic “can‑do” approach
Persistent and results‑driven mindset
Comfortable working in ambiguity and dynamic environments
Key Responsibilities
Production planning & delivery: In close collaboration with Supply Chain, translate production plans into executed output, ensuring timely delivery of agreed volumes in a cost‑efficient manner.
Operational execution & continuous improvement: Develop and maintain an effective production organization, including operational planning, engineering activities, and continuous improvement programs; own production KPIs and cascade them across the organization.
Quality & compliance: Implement plant quality policies in line with company strategy and regulatory requirements, safeguarding production processes and delivering high‑quality safe products.
Budget & cost management: Manage production budgets, monitor performance, implement corrective actions, and report accurately to achieve financial targets.
People leadership & development: Lead, develop and engage the production team in line with HR policies, fostering a strong performance culture and supporting employee development.
