Job Description
Product Owner – Receivables Finance
As we build on our agile ways of working, we are seeking a product owner with extensive knowledge of the receivables market to help us implement new platforms, launch new products and grow our receivables offering in Spain before supporting a launch in other European countries.
Responsibilities
Own build and develop the product vision, long-term roadmap, and overall product strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs
Understand customer needs, market demands, and business context. Identify key market opportunities and customer requirements. Build feedback into product requirements and use data to inform future product developments
Own the team backlogs, prioritizing features, enablers, and stories to ensure timely delivery of product increments
Work closely with the development teams to break down high-level features into actionable user stories
Define, refine, and accept iterations, ensuring they deliver business value and align with the product vision
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, development, marketing, etc.) to deliver the product efficiently
Review product features to ensure they meet the agreed-upon criteria before acceptance
Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring effective communication of product progress, milestones, and results
Qualifications
Essential Experience
5+ years in the receivables industry in Europe, ideally with expertise in the Spanish market
Has previously been a Product Owner
Experience of launching new platforms
Demonstrable knowledge of leading value stream teams
Has worked in AGILE teams and organisations; built roadmaps and managed backlogs
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of the receivables market and multiple products including factoring (recourse and non-recourse), confirming and reverse factoring, spot invoice discounting
Strong stakeholder management across multiple complex relationships
