Privacy & AI AnalystBarcelona | LondonAbout This RoleAs Privacy & AI Analyst at Perk, you'll shape the future of privacy and AI in tech, building governance programs, identifying risks, managing tooling, and ensuring compliance across product, engineering, and marketing teams.ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Risk: Help build and evolve privacy and AI governance programs, identify and assess privacy and AI risks, partner with teams, collaborate with Security on incident readiness, AI threats, simulations and response.Operations & Implementation: Manage the privacy and AI tooling stack and vendor relationships, automation and integrations, keep policies and guidelines updated, handle day‑to‑day privacy inquiries (DSR intake, responses, tracking, escalation), run core accountability activities like ROPAs, AI inventory, DPIAs/FRIAs, LIAs, TIAs, consent tracking, marketing opt‑outs, and third‑party due diligence, partner with Privacy Counsel & DPO to translate regulatory updates into scalable guidance, track and report program performance metrics, trends and risks to senior stakeholders.Compliance & Certifications: Align programs to GDPR, EU AI Act and other applicable laws, support ISO *****/***************** internal and external audits, evidence collection and ongoing maintenance.Product, Privacy & Responsible AI by Design: Support privacy‑by‑design across product, engineering and marketing—provide guidance on data flows, retention, minimisation, AI ethics and default settings so teams can ship with confidence and mitigate risks early.Culture & Enablement: Consolidate a Privacy Champions program, deliver training, communications and knowledge resources to make privacy and AI governance approachable.QualificationsCore qualifications and drivers:Passion for Privacy & AI in technology and excitement to master these fields.2–5 years of experience in privacy, data protection, AI governance, compliance, information security or a related field, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment.Practical knowledge of key privacy and AI regulations and frameworks.Proven track record owning privacy operations end‑to‑end with minimal supervision.Ability to grasp complex technical concepts (data flows, system architectures, anonymisation) and communicate with engineers.Excellent problem‑solving and risk judgment; ability to make decisions with limited oversight.Clear, concise communication for technical and non‑technical audiences; strong drafting skills for policies, guidance and training.Self‑starter who prioritises impact over effort and has a bias for action.Preferred qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology or a related field.Recognised certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT or AIGP.Hands‑on experience with privacy and governance platforms and automation (e.g., BigID, OneTrust, TrustArc) and basic privacy tooling familiarity.Experience with ISO ***** standards and audits.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer; we welcome people regardless of how they look, where they are from, or anything else that makes them who they are.BenefitsCompetitive compensation and equity ownership.Generous vacation days plus public holidays.Private healthcare or gym allowance.Life insurance for loved ones.Annual summer party and other Perk events.Wellbeing partnership with access to therapy and coaching.Adaptable compensation plan.Paid parental leave: 17 weeks during your child’s first year.Paid volunteer hours: 16 per year.Work‑from‑Anywhere days: up to 20 per year.Language skill development: English, Spanish and Catalan lessons.Four‑week fully paid sabbatical after 5 years.Relocation support for our hubs.How We WorkWe take an IRL‑first approach; this role requires working in person three days a week in a hub that is within commuting distance.
