About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for STEM PhD experts interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects involving state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs).
The role involves applying deep subject matter expertise to develop challenging, domain-specific problems and create high-quality data that helps improve the reasoning, accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities of next-generation AI systems.
Required Qualifications
PhD in a STEM discipline from a university in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Europe .
Expertise in a relevant field, including:
Mathematics
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Computer Science
Statistics
Economics
Or a closely related STEM discipline
Deep subject matter expertise with the ability to develop complex, research-level problems within your domain.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent proficiency in English.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
Develop challenging, domain-specific problems based on your area of expertise.
Create high-quality reference solutions and explanations.
Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, reasoning, and technical quality.
Identify errors and opportunities to improve AI-generated outputs.
Apply advanced subject matter expertise to help improve the reasoning capabilities of large language models.
Contribute high-quality data to support the development and evaluation of next-generation AI systems.
Compensation
Competitive compensation of $70–$75/hour.
