We are looking to engage an experienced Portguguese-speaking Buy-Side M&A Project Manager specialized in executing small to mid-cap acquisitions in the TIC sector. Our client is a fast-growing international player with strong organic growth and a track record of multiple acquisitions. The role demands autonomy in driving the entire transaction lifecycle, from due diligence to closing.Scope of WorkThe selected professional will:/ Lead end-to-end execution of 2–3 small to mid-cap acquisitions / Act as primary interface towards sellers and advisors / Coordinate internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations, regional leads) / Drive due diligence processes and ensure timeline discipline / Negotiate and structure SPA terms (incl. commercial points and process coordination) / Manage closing preparation and handover to integration teams / Ensure execution quality in founder-led, mid-market environmentsThis is a hands-on execution role – not a strategic advisory mandate.Required Experience/ 5–10 years of M&A experience / Proven buy-side execution track record (corporate or PE-backed environment) / Experience in small/mid-cap founder-led transactions / Ability to independently steer processes and manage counterparties / Strong stakeholder management across cross-functional internal teams / Solid SPA negotiation exposure (commercial understanding required) / High level of autonomy and execution disciplineSector Background (Preferred)/ Experience in TIC, industrial services, inspection, certification, testing, technical services or fragmented B2B services sectors / Exposure to roll-up strategiesGeographical & Language Requirements/ Experience with cross-border transactions / Portuguese language skills highly valuable (Brazil / Portugal exposure) / Fluency in English requiredProfile We Are Not Looking For/ Pure sell-side investment banking profiles without buy-side ownership/ Strategy-only consultants without hands-on deal execution
