Experteer Overview
As Platform Lead Buyer at Valeo, you will steer purchasing decisions for Platform Components within the Platform SoCo scope, aligning with PF strategies and supplier capabilities. You’ll collaborate with project teams to finalize contractual needs, manage capacity and risk, and drive productivity actions across the platform lifecycle. You’ll use PuMa and SRM tools to monitor KPIs, support local requirements, and ensure smooth transition to serial production. This role offers impact across global sourcing, supplier relationship, and cross-functional collaboration in a leading automotive tech environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Enforce platform sourcing decisions for P1 awards in Platform SoCo
• Finalize contractual requirements with project teams for platform components (S-VRF, Logistic Protocol) and ensure supplier understanding
• Monitor capacity risks and align with PF ramp-up
• Promote PuMa usage within project teams and coordinate with SQA network in SRM
• Assess supplier risk related to development/production capability and financial sustainability, and propose mitigating actions
• Communicate PF Panel awards to P1 Development centers and enforce PF decisions
• Identify and implement productivity enhancements across PF components worldwide
• Ensure documentation and transfer to serial production, including VALTA and LTA contracts and related records
• Support P1 project buyers to meet commodity strategy, localization, and global leverage targets
Responsabilidades
• Engineering Degree/Master
• u003e5-10 years in purchasing and management
• Automotive sector knowledge desirable
• On-site geographic mobility
• Strong English; additional languages a plus
• Abstraction ability and lateral/holistic thinking
• Knowledge and passion for the automotive industry
