About The Role
We’re a collaborative, purpose-driven group that’s passionate about transforming healthcare. The role provides clinical primary care delivered by a physician trained in comprehensive first contact and continuing care for patients with varied health concerns. The position will work closely with the clinical team and is primarily responsible for managing direct patient care, implementing evidence-based medicine, adhering to national and internal practice guidelines, providing patient advocacy, and driving clinical initiatives.

Annual Health Assessments (AHA)
Chronic Care Management (CCM)
Direct and indirect patient care, identifying risks based on patient screening data
Collaboration with providers, ancillary personnel, community resources, and other interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs
Use of the Electronic Health Record (“EHR”) to manage and improve patient care, workflows and clinical compliance
Patient advocacy to achieve cost-effective care through coordination of healthcare services
Promoting effective communication with patients and encouraging the patient as a partner in health care
The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring
Providing patient-centric care and serving as a patient health advocate
Working in interdisciplinary teams and employing evidence-based practice
Applying quality improvement principles
Ability to function independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills with adaptability for patients, families, and colleagues
Highly organized, strong time management, and flexibility to manage multiple timelines and activities
Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience
Successfully completed residency in their specialty
Preferred: 3+ years professional experience as a PCP
Significant experience with an EHR, preferably Epic
Active and in good standing Medical License in California and Board Certified
Active NPI number
Active DEA number from US Drug Enforcement Administration
Board certification must be current
Call coverage for assigned Brown & Toland members 24/7, 365 days a year or participation in a call group
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this position is $225,000 - $255,000 per year. We provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education, alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs, including:

Physical Requirements
Office environment – roles involving part to full‑time schedule in office environment. Sedentary activity for most of the workday.
