ph3Artificial Mitochondria for Health /h3 pThe group of Dr. Iván López‑Montero at the Department of Physical Chemistry I at the Complutense University in Madrid is looking for strongly motivated candidates for a PhD‑student position. /p pThe position is funded by the ERC (European Research Council) and covers a period of 3 years. /p pThe work will focus on drug delivery in a framework of synthetic biology and will focus on the production of ATP inside artificial model membrane systems and their delivery into human cell cultures carrying mitochondrial dysfunctions. /p h3What is expected? /h3 ul liApplicants should be ready to be accepted on a Spanish PhD thesis program in Experimental Science at the starting date. /li liLaboratory experience and skills to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary team are desirable. /li liCandidates from any scientific discipline that are interested in interdisciplinary research questions at the interface between physics, chemisty and biology. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
