* Perform in vivo studies to answer scientific questions and to characterize MoA and efficacy of compounds including new drug candidates* Perform a variety of routine laboratory experiments and procedures, using state of the art laboratory equipment, recording and checking results for completeness and accuracy* Plan and initiate established and new experimental approaches with a high level of independence* Analyse and interpret experimental results and prepare reports/presentations* Assist team members in planning and execution of experiments* Work in a matrixed, fast paced highly collaborative environment with shared responsibilities* Effectively communicate within and across teams.* Carry out all laboratory activities in compliance with applicable regulations and protocols.* Conduct literature searches and reviews, compiling information for journals and suggest uses for new techniques to the team.* Maintain records of results and methodologies in electronic laboratory notebook.* Maintain equipment, lab area and supplies in a neat professional manner* Attend courses, lectures and conferences to further own knowledge on research and laboratory techniques, consulting with other researchers to exchange information.* Contribute to an enriching, positive and inclusive lab environment.* Bs of science and experience in a research lab.* EU license to work in procedures and projects on laboratory animal science or equivalent is a plus* Proficiency in mouse handling and dosing* Ability to independently conduct tissue sample processing and analysis from rodents and/or minipigs using state of the art technologies* Excellent aseptic cell culture technique for handling human and murine primary cells and transformed cell lines* Ideally experience in RT-PCR, ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Western Blot techniques.* Ideally experience in state of the art immunology techniques to support isolation and ex vivo analysis of cells from animal tissues or human skin samples is a plus.* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.* Proficiency in the use of software tools to support data analysis (e. g., Prism, FlowJo, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)* Ability to critically interpret and effectively present data* Ability to take accountability and to prioritize work* Adaptabity to shifting priorities and changing work assignments* Ability to communicate in English- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.#J-18808-Ljbffr
