Created in 2009, ESSP is a young and dynamic company, a pan European service provider, certified by EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency) to deliver safety-critical services. Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services, among which, the main one is, the EGNOS service (the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service), on behalf of the EUSPA (the European Agency for Space).ESSP Corporate Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkszX-ptzAY ESSP Website career: https://www.essp-sas.eu/human-resources/careers/ ESSP recruits a:Performance Tools Manager - (F/M)We are looking for a Performance Tools Manager who will ensure the steady and fluid of the team by checking correct operation of Mission Performance tools, developing new software, defining new requirement and managing the development and acceptance of the tools. For these activities, we are looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in satellite navigation (GNSS) and 3 years’ experience in a field relevant to management and development of software and tools, with a very good level of English (minimum B2). Your main responsibilities/activities will be:Coordination of the team of 4 people, in charge of maintaining and evolving Mission Performance Tools,Maintain performance tools, networks and connections; ensure they are operated in nominal conditions,Management and control the obsolescence and guarantee of Mission Performance tools,Management of observation reports, configuration management, control of changes and documentation management,Raise Observation Reports for the anomalies found in Performance Tools and participate actively in the Observation Report Board and the follow-up of the anomalies,Maintain and develop scripts and software related to the exploitation of tools,Maintain and evolve the User Performance Continuous Monitoring Tool and similar software developed to provide real time information to users (internal and external users),Proposition of evolutions on tools and manage requirements document,Be responsible of the acceptance of new or evolved performance tools and to participate actively during the corresponding industry qualification milestones,Support to the system and service Change Control Boards and related taskforces,Support the EGNOS System formal Reviews,Coordinate and supervise the installations and deployments related to performance toolsPROFILE: Leadership and team-buildingExperience in development of software related to GNSS performance analysis.Mastering the methods of development and evolution of complex software Knowledge in Visual Basic.Net ,Python, MATLAB, C/C++ and scripting requiredBasic knowledge of cybersecurity aspectsAdaptability and initiativeGood capacity of analysis and synthesisStrong autonomy and ability to assume responsibilitiesProject managementVery good level of English (B2 – C1) – CEFR JOB REQUIREMENTS:Engineering degree or equivalentAvailable for regular travels mainly in EuropeHUMAN RESOURCESRecruitment process:1st interview is held by the direct manager of the position you applied for (technical interview)2nd interview is held by HR UnitRemuneration package:Variables: bonuses based on objectivesTeleworking: up to 3 days/weekHealth insurance, life InsuranceSaving planTickets RestaurantSustainable Mobility Package: Home/Office travels reimbursement if car sharing or bicycling29 holidays (for full time year) - 30 days after 2 years of service in the company.ESSP is committed to cultural diversity, gender equality and the employment of disabled workers.
