Description of the Post
UVic-UCC is a young and dynamic university committed to quality teaching, innovative research, and internationalisation. The Faculty of Education, Translation, Sport and Psychology is recruiting to incorporate a new member.
Responsibilities
The candidate will teach 9 credits of the subject "Didáctica de la Matemática I" for the degree Program in Primary Education Teacher Training. The teaching will include both practical and theoretical content of the syllabus.
Requirements
Recognised Spanish master's degree or a university degree in Mathematics, or a related field (Licenciatura o Grado en Matemáticas, o Grado en Mestre/a).
Certification of Level C1 in Catalan or commitment to obtain it.
Accreditation of Level B2 in English or commitment to obtain it.
Experience in the field of Didáctica de la Matemática or in the area of mathematics at the primary level.
Current professional activity in the field at the time of appointment.
PhD in the field of Didáctica de la Matemática or in process of obtaining it.
University level teaching experience in Didáctica de la Matemática.
Level B2 or higher in other languages besides English.
Accreditation by an academic quality agency.
Research experience in mathematics education.
Strong knowledge of mathematics up to at least pre‑university level.
Declaration of equivalence of foreign qualifications if required (must be submitted within 3 years).
