Company Overview Neurocoms is a European company dedicated to the development of advanced RF and electronic warfare systems for defense and critical infrastructure. With full in-house capabilities—from R&D to post-sales support—we are committed to technological resilience, and excellence in high-performance engineering. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our hardware development team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on the design, layout, and validation of complex printed circuit boards for high-speed digital systems, RF applications, and mixed-signal architectures. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving FPGAs, high-speed data converters (DACs/ADCs), JESD204B/C interfaces, and power management for defense-grade electronic systems. Key Responsibilities Design multi-layer PCBs (8+ layers) for high-speed digital and RF applications using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent) Implement FPGA-based systems with emphasis on signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management Design and route high-speed serial interfaces including JESD204B/C for DAC/ADC communication Develop power distribution networks (PDN) for complex mixed-signal boards with multiple voltage rails Perform signal integrity analysis, impedance control, and EMI/EMC compliance verification Collaborate with RF engineers on board-level integration of high-frequency circuits (up to 6 GHz) Generate manufacturing documentation including Gerber files, assembly drawings, and BOM Support prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation testing Coordinate with PCB fabrication houses and assembly partners (e.g., JLCPCB) Maintain design documentation and version control in compliance with engineering standards Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field Proficiency in PCB design tools: Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or KiCAD Knowledge of signal integrity principles, controlled impedance design, and differential pair routing Experience with power supply design and PDN optimization Familiarity with EMI/EMC design practices and compliance standards Ability to read and interpret datasheets, reference designs, and application notes Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Fluent in English (minimum B2 level) Work Conditions Location: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain Type: Full-time, On-site Start Date: March 2026
