Own the end-to-end payroll process at Cellnex, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local labor and tax regulations, and timely delivery. Act as a key point of contact for complex payroll matters, support the resolution of escalations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls.What You’ll DoOwn the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution.Calculate and validate complex payroll variables (bonuses, terminations, severance payments, expatriate compensation), ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements.Ensure compliance with local labor law, tax regulations, and social security requirements, liaising with Legal and Tax advisors as needed.Lead the reconciliation of payroll data with Finance, ensuring accurate accounting postings and reporting.Manage relationships with external payroll providers and authorities, resolving escalations and discrepancies.Drive the preparation and review of statutory filings and year-end processes, such as tax certificates and annual declarations.Identify and implement process improvements and controls within the payroll function.Support internal and external audits related to payroll.Act as a key point of contact for complex employee payroll inquiries and escalations.What We’re Looking For
EducationUniversity degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Specialized training in payroll, labor law, or tax may be valuable.LanguagesSpanish: Advanced (Must-have)Any other Cellnex language: Intermediate (Valuable)Tools & SystemsMS Office: Advanced (Must-have)Payroll/HRIS systems: Advanced (Must-have)Experience4-5 years of experience in payroll administration, including ownership of full payroll cycles.Experience liaising with external payroll providers, tax, and social security authorities is preferred.Other relevant Skills or CharacteristicStrong knowledge of local labor law and tax regulations applicable to payroll.Ability to manage complex cases with autonomy and sound judgment.Strong attention to accuracy and detail in data processing.Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information responsibly.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain payroll matters clearly to varied stakeholders.Comfortable working to strict monthly deadlines and managing multiple priorities.Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and building relationships with People, Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders.Ability to guide and support junior team members.What we offerHybrid work model (3 days onsite / 2 remote).Modern office located in Barcelona city (headquarters), in Passeig de la Zona Franca, 105.International and cross-functional teamwork environment.Growth opportunities in a fast-evolving tech company.A purpose-driven role with societal and business impact.About us
