Our large‑scale, carbon‑neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production.
Strategically located next to the Stellantis Plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.

We are looking for Packaging Engineer, who will oversee the entire packaging development for the product throughout its life cycle from production to final delivery.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Breaking down project requirements and handling packaging structure design, covering finished products for export projects, transportation of electrified components and overseas packaging design for TVC test samples.
Overseeing the entire packaging development process, including drafting, planning reviews, validating, implementing and other related operational procedures.
Designing regulation‑compliant packaging solutions under international standards for hazardous material packaging, ASTM and ISTA testing standards.
Conducting supplier onboarding reviews, vendor selection evaluations, prototype confirmation, and quality assessments for overseas packaging material suppliers.
Managing raw material packaging confirmation, review supplier packaging proposals, and track packaging transitions.
Proposing effective cost‑reduction measures and improvement in mass production packaging, approving archive change requests and promoting standardized packaging practices.
Handling the internal recycling equipment and classifying discarded packaging in the factory.
Your profile and qualifications:
Engineering Degree in the Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical fields.
High level of English, at least C1.
Proficient in office software and drawing software (CAD, CATIA).
Previous experience in packaging design within automotive manufacturing companies, would be highly valuated
Availability to work on‑site at our facilities based in Figueruelas (Zaragoza).
