Accelerate the possible by joining a winning Amcor team that’s transforming the packaging industry and improving lives around the world.The Operations Manager within our LEZO site is responsible for managing: Pre-press, Production, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Engineering and CAPEX, Warehouse (indoor logistics).Main priorities are: Compliance with company/plant policies and procedures; Alignment with plant objectives and customer requirements; Focus on continuous improvement and innovation.RequirementsA minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and supervision.Experience in packaging is an advantage but not a pre-requisite for the role.Experience of successfully managing significant change / transformation projects within a manufacturing environment.First‑hand experience of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.Degree in a science, technology or engineering subject preferred, advanced degree advantageous.Knowledge of: Production machines, tools and related process control equipment.Infrastructure and installations (electric power, gas distribution, HVAC, compressed air,,…).Energy management, Shop floor systems.Safety and environmental regulation (Spain, EU).Hard SkillsLean methodologiesSix SigmaKaizenProduction managementProcess controlEnergy managementManufacturing supervisionChange managementContinuous improvementEngineeringSoft SkillsLeadershipCommunicationOrganizational skillsProblem‑solvingInnovation
