OverviewJohnson & Johnson seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Madrid to serve as a therapeutic area scientific expert and to maximize product value through high‑quality, peer‑to‑peer scientific communication with leading specialists.Overall PurposeTo maximize company product value through scientific communication with Leading Specialists, supporting the strategic goals of Medical Affairs at the local level.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute an individual Activity Plan aligned with the national and brand plans.Maintain continuous knowledge of therapeutic area, products, treatment trends, and clinical studies.Build and sustain a contact network of Leading Specialists and other key stakeholders.Communicate the scientific benefits of company products in a fair, accurate, and objective manner, avoiding marketing claims.Represent the company at professional associations, conferences, advisory boards, and scientific meetings.Provide proactive and reactive scientific communication to Health Care Professionals, including off‑label information management.Support Medical Education activities, including speaker selection, program development, and material provision.Participate in Market Access discussions to provide objective data to payors.Collaborate with Sales and Medical Information teams to provide scientific training and support.Implement local Medical Affairs plans, including research studies, registries, and non‑interventional programs.Ensure compliance with regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and company policies.Report adverse events, product quality complaints, and other safety information in a timely manner.QualificationsScientific degree: Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical, or Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Psychology).Deep knowledge of the therapeutic area and experience in medical research or data interpretation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of the MSL in a peer‑to‑peer relationship.Customer‑focused mindset with awareness of business results.Understanding of Johnson & Johnson Credo values and International Health Care Business Integrity guidelines.Required SkillsAnalytical reasoning and data analysisClinical data management and insightsCommunication and interpersonal influenceStrategic thinking and execution focusDigital literacy and technology savvyDetail‑oriented and problem‑solving abilitiesPreferred SkillsMarket research and competitive landscape analysisCross‑functional collaboration and relationship buildingScientific research and medical compliance knowledgeExperience with clinical evidence synthesisCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: €38,000 – €60,950 per year.Annual bonus based on pay grade and company performanceVacation days, parental leave (≥12 weeks), bereavement, caregiver, and volunteer leaveWell‑being reimbursement and programs for financial, physical, and mental healthService‑anniversary recognition awardsMultiple insurance plans (subject to location and plan terms)EEO StatementJohnson & Johnson is an equal‑opportunity employer.
