As an Operations Manager, you will lead other managers and create the operational plan that helps your teams meet their targets, driving excellence in safety, quality, and productivity across our sites.Key Job ResponsibilitiesManage and develop a team of Area ManagersLead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performanceAnalyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve operational excellenceWork closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and SecurityDesign and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performanceA Day in the LifeYou’ll lead shifts at one of our operational sites and serve as the key link between a number of teams, including finance, safety and operations integration teams. You’ll participate in daily meetings, deep‑dive into performance and risk metrics, and prepare for varying demand levels while mentoring and coaching your team.About the TeamCustomer Fulfilment (CF) is the foundation of Amazon’s operations, handling more than 1.5 million orders a day. As part of the CF team, you’ll work in Fulfilment Centres—often referred to as the ‘First Mile’—helping manage dynamic inventory and expedite deliveries worldwide.
