Overview
As a Senior MV Electrical Engineer, you will drive design and technical evaluation for medium-voltage projects across Europe and SAM, shaping proposals and ensuring compliance with codes and customer needs. You’ll lead basis of design, calculations, and system diagrams, coordinating with sub-consultants and the estimating team. This role blends design, tender support, and construction-phase collaboration to deliver robust, safe MV solutions. You’ll work in a global, inclusive Schneider Electric environment focused on sustainability and innovation.
ResponsabilidadesParticipate in project programming with the customer to capture requirements and influence solutionsDevelop design documents to support proposals (infrastructure equipment, bid specs, space and site layout, diagrams, protection, ventilation, etc.)Review major equipment quotes for technical compliance and support cost estimationSolicit and approve sub-consultant proposals to produce complete design packagesProvide technical narratives for critical infrastructure and sequence of operations for proposalsPerform code analysis and lead basis of design, including redundancy, detailed design and calculationsSupport engineering teams, factory, commissioning, subcontractors, and site supportsProvide construction phase support: RFI responses, design validation, change orders, and as-built drawingsAttend project meetings and facilitate communications with customers and sub-consultantsMaintain knowledge through trainings; act as SME to train other engineersTravel to customer sites for issue resolution and safety-related meetings
Requisitos principales5 years of experience in MV Power Systems DesignData Center design experienceExperience with ETAP or Caneco HTMV/LV coordination and arc flash/gassing simulation/studyProtective relays configuration knowledgeLV power design backgroundGood English and Spanish language skillsStrong communication and multi-discipline teamwork capabilityFamiliarity with Microsoft tools, REVIT & CADKnowledge of Schneider Medium Voltage portfolio and safety standardsTeamworkCommunicationCross-functional collaborationSchneider MV portfolio familiarityMV power systems design and calculationsProtective relays configuration
