MEP | Data Centre Construction | Madrid | €60,000About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a growing MEP and data centre engineering consultancy, delivering mechanical design across data centre and technology building projects throughout Europe.Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Madrid office, leading the design, development and supervision of Data Centre projects from concept through to completion.What You Will Be DoingLeading the development of mechanical design across all project phases: preliminary studies, conceptual design, basic design and detailed design.Design and development of mechanical systems for Data Centres, including cooling and ventilation, in compliance with international regulations and quality standards.Preparing mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.Managing and monitoring budgets using tools such as Presto.Planning and monitoring projects using Microsoft Project.Preparing and supervising technical documentation including reports, measurements, drawings and specifications.Identifying project risks and proposing corrective and preventive measures.Visualising and interpreting models in Revit, with coordination and clash detection in Navisworks.What We Are Looking ForDegree in Mechanical Engineering (Higher or Technical).Experience in mechanical design for building services, with involvement in Data Centre projects an advantage.High level of English.Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.Solid knowledge of budget management and specialised software such as Presto.Proficiency in planning tools such as MS Project.Experience in subcontractor management and team leadership.Knowledge of national and international mechanical regulations.Knowledge of BIM environments is valuable.What Is On OfferSalary up to €60,000.Hybrid working
