The tutor must have a strong track record of working with children of similar age and be fluent in English. Lessons should be dynamic, engaging, and adapted to the child's learning style. A deep understanding of child psychology and the ability to cultivate intrinsic motivation are essential. The tutor must maintain a warm yet structured teaching approach — someone who is creative and playful, but also consistent and respected by the child. The tutor should align with our values around curiosity-driven learning and be capable of building a long-term trajectory that leads the student from foundational arithmetic through advanced elementary mathematics. Curriculum familiarity and the ability to clearly explain the roadmap are required.
