Experteer Overview In this role you lead aMaterials Planning team within Essity's Planning & Logistics HUB in Barcelona to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability. You will combine people management, stakeholder collaboration and data-driven decision-making to drive planning excellence and operational reliability. You’ll partner with hub and external stakeholders to safeguard service levels while enabling transformation and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership position that emphasizes impact, team development and cross-functional influence. - Drive materials planning excellence by applying standard best practices across the hub
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Materials Planners
- Safeguard material availability in location, quantity and timing to optimise service, working capital and cost
- Act as interface between Hub Supply Planning, internal and external stakeholders
- Define, track and act on KPIs, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support the Supply Planning Transformation roadmap and adopt digital tools
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the Team Leaders network and PLEx initiativesResponsabilidades
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related technical field
- 4+ years in production planning, materials management, forecasting or inventory management
- Previous people management experience or demonstrated capability to lead and develop others
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Confident communicator with ability to influence multiple stakeholders
- Advanced MS Office; SAP or other ERP/planning tools a strong plus
