Job Description The role holder will be part of MAP Structure & Cargo – TADAX1, within the Stress team. MAP Structure & Cargo is a multidisciplinary, cross‑functional international team of highly skilled engineers involved in the complete aircraft life‑cycle and the FAL Build Process, Ground Testing, Flight Testing and Delivery Process. This position offers an opportunity to be close to the physical aircraft and deeply involved throughout the aircraft design, build, test, operations and delivery to customers. Responsibilities Strength and durability analysis of metallic, composite and hybrid structures for the A400M aircraft in Enrique and FAL Sevilla. Provide engineering support to the manufacturing organization and to the Concession and DQN network. Issue Special Instructions for temporary design solutions or configuration changes. Maintain and certify new aircraft capabilities for specific design work packages. Static sizing and detailed analysis of structural components, parts, assemblies and integration of systems and equipment. Perform FEM analysis and traditional stress justification at component level, producing relevant strength margins. Define and produce certification and qualification stress documents. Support structural test definition, support and analysis of the tests. Liaise with stakeholders: Final Assembly Line, Flight Line, Delivery Centre, Flight Test Centre, Design Office, Chief Engineers, Airworthiness Authorities and MAP offices. Deliver technical solutions in support of build, test and delivery of aircraft on Non‑Conformities. Participate in static & FDT justifications on composite & metallic structures for NCN, concessions & Special Instructions following deviation from the definition & need of A/C configuration change within Flight Test Campaign. Develop towards gaining release of chain of responsibility (CoC) delegations and autonomy on the complete aircraft. Contribute to projects such as NCs Eradication, CSDM, digital tools, maintenance and flight test activities. Required Skills and Qualifications University Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in structural analysis of airframe components, metallic and composite structures. Knowledge of structural analysis tools and design details of airframe, including tools. Proficiency in Airbus Tools & Methods (ISAMI, ISAMI Xpress, SRM). Ability to perform static calculation within metallic and composite structures according to Airbus methods and sizing processes, including FEM techniques. Ability to provide stress analyses for the repair/acceptance of metallic and composite damaged structures. Ability to understand and integrate technologies in the domain of metallic and composite materials. Fluent English, Good level of Spanish required. Strong autonomous decision‑making based on technical experience is essential. Excellent team working skills and proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.
