As a Product Manager at AXON Networks, we are seeking a highly skilled and independent Product Engineer with extensive experience in core networking, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), embedded devices, Wi‑Fi, Linux, Cisco, Juniper technologies, broadband, and Wi‑Fi alliance specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and will be capable of driving product requirements, build solutions for customers independently.
Product Development and Management
Lead the requirements, design, development, and management of networking products and CPE devices.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring products meet customer and market needs.
Utilize deep knowledge of core networking technologies, including routing, switching, and network security.
Develop and integrate embedded systems and Wi‑Fi solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Apply proficiency in Linux for device and system programming and configuration.
Provide technical support, conduct product demo and training to ISP partners to ensure successful product deployment and operation.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Show initiative in identifying and solving problems, improving product performance, and driving innovation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product engineering with a focus on core networking and CPE.
Proficient in English and Spanish both written and spoken.
Proficient in core networking technologies, and access technologies such as GPON, XGSPON, Wi‑Fi, TCP / IP, DSL.
Experienced with embedded systems development and integration.
Proficient in Linux, including scripting and system administration.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results on time.
Experience with cloud-based networking solutions.
Knowledge of network automation tools and practices.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Flexible schedule, including telecommuting.
