Company Description
Founded in 2020, English amb l'Anna emerged to meet the demand for interactive and speaking-focused English lessons, providing an alternative to traditional teaching methods. Over time, the school has grown into a team of three dedicated and empathetic English teachers. English amb l'Anna emphasizes a personalized and human-centered approach to language education. We value diversity, social skills, creativity, teamwork and fun over grades, although we have some exam-prep groups, too. This is a full-time, on-site position for an English Language Teacher at our location in Solsona. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging English lessons that focus on speaking and communication skills. We use stories, art and drama projects, games and practical activities to motivate students to learn English in a positive, fun and natural language acquisition environment.
As a private extracurricular language school, our working hours are mainly 15.00-19.30, with the occasional exception of some morning adult classes.
We offer a contract with a competitive salary depending on qualifications and experience.
Fluent English speaker
Proficiency in English Teaching/Education
Background in Education or Language
Passion for teaching/education and the ability to inspire and motivate students
Certification in TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA is advantageous
Proficiency in additional languages, such as Catalan or Spanish is a plus but not a requirement
Experience working with early years (ages 3–5) or other age groups is desirable
