About The Role
The Laboratory Technician conducts daily in-process quality control checks as well as physico-chemical analysis and micro determinations of incoming raw materials, finished products and plant environment. The role emphasizes continuous evaluation of the process, goods, and close follow-up of environmental monitoring. The incumbent organizes, updates, analyzes and reports the results in both written and verbal form to the QA team and other involved departments.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out in-process and finished goods sampling in/out the premises for analysis.
Inform and liaise with production on the quality status during the process control analysis.
Carry out inspection on packaging and raw materials.
Assist in sample preparation of daily sensory evaluation.
Update product status in the warehouse with the appropriate stickers.
Assist in preparing CoC/CoA.
Manage nonconformities related to raw materials, packaging and products.
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safety in the working area.
Keep track of the fungible materials inventory in the laboratory.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory analytical instruments when required.
Assist in other QA activities.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in advanced analytical techniques.
Solid knowledge of analytical laboratory equipment and procedures.
Digital skills.
English – intermediate, communicative.
Responsibility and confidentiality.
Methodological and analytical skills.
Strong initiative, autonomy and communication skills with team spirit.
Priority management.
