pWe're M.L.O Growth, a boutique eCommerce growth agency working with ambitious DTC brands in beauty, wellness, supplements, and home. We scale brands to 6-7 figures/month through Paid Media (Meta, Google, TikTok), Creative Strategy, and Retention. /ppbr/ppWe're hiring a Junior/Mid Creative Strategist to join our creative team on an ongoing freelance basis. This is a role where you'll learn and grow — we have a proven creative strategy framework, and we're looking for someone hungry to master it. /ppbr/ppWHAT YOU'LL DO /ppbr/pulliDevelop ad concepts, angles, and hooks for Meta Ads (Facebook Instagram) based on our creative strategy framework /lili- Write creative briefs that guide our designers and video editors — clear direction on messaging, visual style, audience persona, and desired action /lili- Analyze competitor ads and winning creatives to extract insights and identify trends in the DTC space /lili- Research buyer personas, pain points, and desire triggers for each brand you work on /lili- Support the creative testing process — propose A/B variations, new angles, and iteration ideas based on ad performance data (CTR, hook rate, CPA, ROAS) /lili- Collaborate closely with Media Buyers, Creative Designers, and Video Editors inside our Notion-based workflow /lili- Build and maintain ad creative libraries and swipe files organized by brand, angle, and funnel stage /li /ulpWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR /ppbr/pulli1-3 years of experience in creative strategy, copywriting for ads, or a related role in DTC/eCommerce or a performance marketing agency /lili- You understand that creative is the #1 lever in paid media — you're passionate about what makes people stop scrolling, click, and buy /lili- Strong instinct for consumer psychology — you think in terms of pain points, desires, objections, and triggers, not just \"pretty visuals\" /lili- Familiar with Meta Ads and how creatives fit into a paid media strategy (TOF/MOF/BOF, creative fatigue, testing frameworks) /lili- Can analyze ad performance and draw actionable conclusions — \"this hook is fatiguing, let's test a new angle\" rather than guessing /lili- Curious, coachable, and hungry to learn — we'll teach you our framework, but you need to bring the drive /lili- Strong written communication in English (Spanish is a big plus) /li /ulpTOOLS YOU SHOULD KNOW (OR BE WILLING TO LEARN) /ppbr/ppRequired: Notion, Meta Ads Library, Google Docs/Sheets /ppBig Plus: Foreplay, AdSpy or similar ad spy tools, Figma (basic), Motion (creative analytics), AI tools for creative ideation /ppbr/ppTHIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF... /ppbr/pulliYou want to \"just design\" or \"just write copy\" — this role requires strategic thinking about WHY a creative works /lili- You're not comfortable receiving direct feedback and iterating quickly /lili- You're not interested in learning about paid media performance metrics /lili- You prefer slow, perfectionist workflows over fast iteration and testing /li /ulpWHAT WE OFFER /ppbr/pulliReal projects with growing DTC brands (beauty, wellness, supplements, home) /lili- 100% remote work /lili- Mentorship and training in our creative strategy framework — learn how top-performing DTC agencies think about creative /lili- Direct exposure to real ad performance data so you see the impact of your decisions /lili- Clear processes and a well-organized Notion workspace /lili- Long-term collaboration — we're building our core creative strategy team /lili- Room to grow into a Senior Creative Strategist role as you develop /li /ulpHOW TO APPLY /ppbr/pulliYour portfolio or examples — ad concepts, creative briefs, or campaigns you've contributed to (even spec work counts) /lili2.
